Elderly Care (ÄO)

Elderly Care (ÄO) is one of five areas within the Social Administration. It is our largest operation with about 700 employees and includes residential care, home care, activation, and assistance handling. We are now looking for a temporary nursing assistant for Kristdala home care

The picturesque Kristdala is located in the municipality of Oskarshamn on the beautiful Småland coast. Are you our new colleague?

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant, you report directly to the unit manager. The work consists of implementing approved care and service measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and health care measures according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) for our clients living in their own homes.

Together with your colleagues, you work to do the best for the client in their daily life. Care, medication administration, documentation, cleaning, and various types of activation are common tasks. You participate in operational development, quality assurance, and competence development together with your colleagues and manager. You perform medical tasks on delegation from licensed personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, preferably with experience from similar tasks.

The work places high demands on personal responsibility, flexibility, and initiative. Being structured, planned, and able to follow routines is also important. You have the ability to see the whole picture but also each individual's circumstances. You are attentive, open, have good collaboration skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment filled with joy at work. We also see that you have a good attitude towards clients and colleagues.

Documentation is an important part of our work, so you need to have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as good computer skills. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
