RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrator at Stockholm Water and Waste, you are the company's face to the public. Our customer service is the first point of contact for all incoming inquiries, where we handle up to 90% of all questions and requests. This can involve everything from waste sorting to helping customers order new services. The tasks are varied and include a lot of administrative work as well as customer contact via phone and our e-services.

We have a rotating schedule each week that distributes which tasks you will have. Our phone is open for customers on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Inquiries vary in time and complexity.

The position is a temporary contract lasting until the end of January 2027, located at our headquarters in Ulvsunda, Bromma.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Staff the phone and email channels and manage incoming mail for Customer Service
  • Administer work orders, new customers, ownership changes, and subscription orders
  • Handle billing of our fees and manage pricing inquiries as well as invoice questions and address changes
  • Provide administrative support for meter changes that have gone wrong
  • Administration of fire hydrant meters
  • Answer all questions regarding recycling and sorting
  • Handle reports of delivery disruptions for waste and water
  • Answer general questions about the business, guide customers, a single point of entry

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service who sees every customer contact as an opportunity to create a positive experience. You are flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing situations and prioritize. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable working both independently and in a team.

Furthermore, you have a knack for communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. A positive attitude and a desire to develop make you a perfect fit for our team!

  • We are looking for someone who has: At least six months of experience in customer service or another service profession that involves intensive work periods/high pressure
  • Good computer skills with experience working in multiple IT systems simultaneously
  • Ability to learn new IT systems easily
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and can be understood and understand English in spoken and written form.

It is an advantage if you have any form of experience and understanding of our industry: water, waste, and environment. Experience working in any form of case management system is also a plus.
