As this position is a summer temporary job, we wish that you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their everyday lives. As a guard at our office in Sundsvall, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, often both day and night. It is common to work every other weekend.

As a patrolling guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers – mainly at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility.

As a stationary guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to one of our customers by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. Often, you will work at the entrance to a larger company and check those who pass in and out, but you may also perform patrols and camera surveillance. The tasks vary from customer to customer. You work independently and under your own responsibility.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who apply are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and careful approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• The position is a need-based employment, with start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
• You will replace regular staff during the holiday periods, therefore it is essential that you are available for work at least 75% between weeks 25-33.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
