Occupational Therapist at Adult Psychiatry Söder

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with functional assessments and treatment within adult psychiatric outpatient care and inpatient care.

Functional assessments are conducted in several aspects and include interviews and observations in activities based on standardized assessment instruments.

Patient cases may be part of a team effort or an individual assessment to map the individual's resources and disabilities. Treatment is planned and carried out according to the individual's needs, and interventions are made individually or in groups.

To ensure you feel secure in your role as an occupational therapist, relevant training will be offered.

Working hours are daytime Monday to Friday.

About You

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who has an interest in psychiatry. Previous work experience in the field is an advantage.

You are an engaged person who is confident in yourself and enjoys sharing and receiving new knowledge and experiences. You have excellent collaboration skills and contribute to creating a good work environment.

The role requires a good ability to independently plan and organize your work effectively and in a structured manner.

Your Future Workplace

Our team consists of five occupational therapists, one physiotherapist, and one occupational therapy assistant. The workplace is located together with other psychiatric services in our newly built psychiatric house in a pleasant environment where we have bright, spacious staff areas with views over Kalmarsund and Öland.

Adult Psychiatry Söder consists of a psychiatric emergency department, inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics. We have about 220 dedicated employees working with meaningful and developing work every day! Perhaps you want to become one of us?

Within the administration, a total of 600 employees work with specialized psychiatric care for adults, children, and adolescents, forensic psychiatric care, and rehabilitation care.
