Are you ready to strengthen our development department as a Senior Machine Designer?

Your work as a Machine Designer
Your tasks as a Senior Machine Designer will involve developing designs and systems with extensive content for our forestry machines. In your work with product development, you will closely collaborate with colleagues in the development department and have frequent contact with our suppliers and production department. The safety of machine operators is highly prioritized at Rottne Industri. Therefore, Functional Safety, CE certification, and machine safety are part of your work.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained mechanical engineer or has a degree in mechanical engineering or similar. We work in Solid Works, and experience with that CAD program is a plus, or you are an experienced user of similar CAD systems. You have a strong interest in technology and are proactive in developing innovative and smart solutions. Furthermore, you are a meticulous person, accustomed to project work, and possess good analytical skills. You are skilled at prioritizing tasks effectively and work purposefully to achieve results. For this role, you need to be proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. If you have knowledge of Functional Safety, we value that. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team with your colleagues.

• Have experience from the manufacturing industry, preferably within heavy vehicles
• Be creative and willing to challenge previous solutions
• Contribute to our good camaraderie in the development team

Location and scope
The position is located in Rottne, 20 km outside Växjö, and is full-time. We prefer that you work on-site with us, but if needed, one day a week remotely may be possible.
