Waste & Recycling Skaraborg

Waste & Recycling Skaraborg is a municipal association with the municipalities of Essunga, Falköping, Hjo, Grästorp, Gullspång, Götene, Karlsborg, Mariestad, Skara, Skövde, Tibro, Töreboda, and Vara as members. Our main task is to be responsible for the collection and treatment of household waste. We are a politically governed organization with representatives from the member municipalities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

From May to August, we are looking for summer substitutes for our collection operations. You will be based with us at Waste and Recycling in Skövde or Mariestad.

The operation is expanding, and there will be opportunities for extension for a number of drivers.

You will perform the tasks involved in waste collection, primarily driving a garbage truck, collecting waste, changing containers at customer sites, and reporting deviations. Vehicle maintenance is also an important part of the job.

Some customer contact will occur.

In collection, we work Monday to Friday. Working hours are Mon-Thurs 06:45 - 16:00, Friday 06:45 - 13:00.

Work on holidays may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position are a C license and YKB.

It is important for us that you can independently prioritize your work, that you are meticulous in your professional execution, as well as responsible and service-oriented as a person.

Furthermore, it is important that you have a positive attitude, are flexible, and can easily collaborate with colleagues. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Some computer skills are required.
