The Culture, Park and Recreation Administration consists of three departments with over 100 employees and a political board ultimately responsible. Lindbäck Stadium is part of the recreation department and is primarily a winter sports facility with ambitions to develop summer activities. The ski slope has three runs, two drag lifts, a children's area with a popular conveyor belt, and a fun park. There is also a café, warming hut, and camping.

We are looking for someone who enjoys all seasons and is happy to work outdoors regardless of the weather. With us, you will have a flexible and fun job that affects many and makes a difference.

Your tasks

As a Sports Field Worker at Lindbäck Stadium, you are part of the daily operations at Lindbäck Stadium. Before the winter season starts, the work is varied with clearing, repairing machines, maintaining lifts, slope preparation, and artificial snow production. The work is heavily influenced by the weather and requires great flexibility. Some night work occurs during the artificial snow production period. During the winter season, you will work on a rotating schedule with days, evenings, and weekends. Currently, the summer job consists of service and maintenance during weekdays, but the goal is for the facility to open for summer activities, which may also include evenings and weekends during the summer.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has worked within the field. A requirement is that you have experience in building and maintaining a fun park by hand and with a snow groomer. It is advantageous if you are an active skier yourself, as this ensures quality in the fun park. A B driver's license and a snow groomer operator's certificate are required for the position.

A good ability to collaborate, professionalism, and a willingness to take responsibility for your work are prerequisites for the position. The job requires good physical fitness.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date according to agreement.
