Welcome to work as an occupational therapist at Samrehab Oskarshamn Hospital

With us, you will work in inpatient care on medical wards where you predominantly meet neurological and geriatric patients. You will also meet patients who come to our outpatient clinic with a need to meet our rehab team. Your tasks include making assessments, treatments/training of patients in need of occupational therapy interventions. You are also part of the team that participates in rounds and collaborates in planning meetings/SIP regarding the individual patient. To ensure a smooth start with us, we assign a mentor to you, and the introduction is planned based on your experiences and needs. With us, you have opportunities for further development through knowledge exchange with experienced colleagues, observations in different operations, and training based on your individual plan and the needs of the operation.

About you

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. It is an advantage if you have experience working as an occupational therapist before, preferably with neurological patients. As a person, you need to be stable and self-sufficient in your work, while seeing communication and collaboration with colleagues as a given. We apply ongoing selection and recruitment. Samrehab includes operations in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and dietitian services at Oskarshamn and Västervik hospitals, social work at Oskarshamn Hospital, the pain unit at Västervik Hospital, district occupational therapy, and district physiotherapy in the six northern municipalities of Kalmar County.
