Procurement Specialist with a Focus on Contracting at VA SYD

Your Upcoming Role

The Procurement Unit at VA SYD is growing, and we are now looking for a new procurement specialist to better meet the organization's needs for contracts. In the role of procurement specialist, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and driving the procurement process in collaboration with colleagues and other expert competencies. You will primarily work with VA SYD's needs for contracting purchases as well as the procurement of goods and services for our operations. Responsibilities and tasks included in the position are:

• actively contributing to the development of VA SYD's strategic and tactical purchasing work, as well as further developing effective work processes, methods, and templates
• planning procurements within your area of responsibility
• preparing procurement documents and administrative regulations for the procurement of contracts as well as goods and services
• providing support and advice to the organization on procurement and contract issues based on strategies, policies, and applicable legislation
• supporting the organization in the implementation and follow-up of procured contracts

The Procurement Unit is part of the Finance Department and is responsible for ensuring that VA SYD conducts businesslike procurements that result in effective and usable contracts. The unit is in an exciting stage of development, where improvement work is underway with the goal of achieving a more strategic purchasing approach. In close collaboration with the organization, the procurement unit procures contracts for goods and services, consultants, as well as construction and building contracts.

Who Are You?

As a procurement specialist, you have a business-oriented perspective and a holistic view that contributes to making VA SYD's purchases effective. It is natural for you to deliver high-quality procurements based on the organization's needs. You are motivated by creating and maintaining good relationships, and you have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Your working style as a procurement specialist is results-oriented and adaptable. It is easy for you to think outside the box and you enjoy having a varied job. You are unpretentious in your way of working and not afraid to take your own initiatives and make your own decisions in your daily work. You naturally support our environmental identity and our core values of quality, commitment, and responsiveness.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

• several years of experience leading and conducting procurements in various areas according to LUF and/or LOU
• some years of experience independently conducting contracting procurements according to AMA and with AB, ABT, and ABK as standard agreements
• post-secondary education in purchasing, technology, economics, law, or equivalent work experience
• good knowledge of MS Office
