About the Job as a Mechanic at the Rolling Mill

In our Rolling Mill, a team of three mechanics works together.

The main tasks include roll grinding and roll maintenance, refurbishment of bearings and pumps, etc. You will also participate in mechanical work in other departments such as welding, warehousing, pump, and manufacturing tasks. Furthermore, you will engage in problem-solving, planning, and preparing your work either independently or together with your colleagues. You will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Technicians, Operations Technicians, Operators, and others.

Who are you?

To fit as a mechanic in the Rolling Mill, you should be meticulous, self-driven, and flexible. The position involves a lot of contact and collaboration within the work team as well as with other professional groups, so you should be good at teamwork and have a positive outlook on your surroundings.

We are looking for someone who

• has a technical high school education or other relevant education.
• has current and relevant experience in mechanical processing, mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, forklift, and overhead crane operation.
• has good knowledge of maintenance systems, material and document management.
• is computer literate.
• has a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you

• have experience in mechanical processing, CNC, and reading technical drawings.

Other Information

The position is permanent, full-time. Start date according to agreement. On-call duty is included in the position.
