We are now looking for a Housekeeper for Haymarket by Scandic

No matter why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. As a Housekeeper, you act as a host alongside the rest of the hotel team and create a world-class guest experience.

In the role of Housekeeper, you work within one or more areas of responsibility that all contribute to the guest's overall experience. During your time with us, these areas may vary as you and the business develop. With us, you will take significant responsibility for making the decisions necessary to satisfy the guest, and the teams develop and improve working methods and service as the world changes. What does the role of Housekeeper entail?

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the important task of ensuring that the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and that our guests get a “wow-feeling” when they step into the hotel and their hotel room. The role includes cleaning hotel rooms, corridors, pantries, and common areas. You and your colleagues contribute to the overall order in the hotel’s premises, handle laundry, and replenish our supplies. We work weekdays and every other weekend at various times.

Who are you?

To thrive in this role, you need to have #Thathaymarketfeeling, be cheerful, energetic, and professional, as well as being meticulous and having an eye for detail. It is important that you have good physical fitness, are flexible, and have good teamwork skills as all employees together are responsible for the guest's experience. You spread good energy around you and are a caring colleague. You have previous experience in cleaning, guest service, and can communicate in Swedish. Since we use iPads, you need to have some computer skills. Previous experience in hotels is an advantage.
