Description

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher who wants to be part of developing and making a difference in preschool in Ljusnarsberg.

As a preschool teacher with us, you contribute to creating a positive and developing environment for children to learn and grow in, together with the work team and other colleagues. In your work, you help create a good balance between care and learning for each individual child and for the entire group of children.

You who are applying for the position are inspired by children's curiosity and creativity and see both the group's and the environment's significance for learning. In consultation with your colleagues, you have the ability to adapt and prioritize your working methods according to the children's needs and interests.

You have good collaboration skills and create trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are clear and responsive in your communication style and have a warm and welcoming demeanor.

The team consists of preschool teachers, childcare workers, and other staff, where you complement and inspire each other.

The preschool has its own special educator who works closely with the preschools. The special educator guides the work teams, conducts observations and assessments, and is also involved in shaping the development work for the preschools.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include working with other educators to plan, implement, and evaluate the education and teaching in preschool. This requires that you are well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents and develop and drive the work based on them. Documentation and evaluation of the work are a natural part. You have a reflective approach to children's learning and development and to your work.

Within working hours, there is dedicated planning time, reflection time with the work team weekly, as well as joint professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Preschool teacher degree with license.

Other

A valid extract from the police criminal record is required for employment.

Start date August 2025.
