Sätra Health Center

Sätra Health Center currently has about 30 employees and provides primary care in a multicultural area. We have a medical clinic, district nurse clinic, child health care at the family center, psychosocial team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, home visits, and specialist clinics for diabetes, hypertension, and leg ulcers, among others. Our staff is highly engaged and participates in the development of the business in all its aspects. We value good collaboration between all professional categories and a positive atmosphere where a strong sense of community permeates the workplace.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a district nurse with us, you will collaborate closely with all professions at the health center. Your competence is a crucial prerequisite for our shared mission to support, treat, and guide people towards a healthier life.

As a district nurse with us, you will, among other things:

• work with telephone counseling
• perform both planned and acute outpatient work
• work with preventive healthcare
• conduct home visits and care planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who finds it easy to collaborate with others while also having the ability to organize and take significant personal responsibility for their tasks. You have our patients' best interests in focus and are skilled at communicating with your surroundings, both patients and colleagues. You can easily adapt to changing situations and understand the importance of contributing to a good cohesion in the workplace.

In the role of district nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse
• have the authorization to work within Swedish healthcare
• hold a valid B driver's license.

For this position, it is an advantage if you have completed Asthma/COPD training. Previous experience in primary care and/or working in an Asthma/COPD clinic is also meritorious.
