The Care Administration, with approximately 1275 employees, encompasses five areas of operation. These are ordinary housing, special housing, LSS and social psychiatry, HSL and short-term accommodations, as well as management support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work in municipal health and medical care is varied with customary nursing tasks. Patients have the right to good and safe care. It should be patient-focused, knowledge-based, efficient, equitable, and provided in a timely manner. It is important that all parts of the care chain cooperate and that the patient's own resources and participation are taken into account.

In your role as a nurse, you have ongoing medical responsibility for the patient, making independent observations and assessments. The work includes, for example, wound dressings, sampling, infusions, and end-of-life care.

Work in Sandviken Municipality means working at the individual's home, both within ordinary housing and special housing. Close cooperation with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, home care, and palliative teams is a prerequisite. Rounds of home care patients take place at the health center with the responsible doctor, while patients in special housing are rounded on-site where they live.

We are divided into geographical areas. All patients have a designated nursing responsible nurse. Working hours are daytime on weekdays and daytime every fifth to sixth weekend. Documentation is done in the data journal system Lifecare. Digital signing of e.g., medications is done via APPVA. Lifecare is used as communication between care providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have further education as a district nurse or further education in elderly care. You should have a few years of experience in the field.

The work as a nurse in municipal health and medical care places very high demands on flexibility, teamwork, and responsiveness. You are proactive, have a good approach, and a positive attitude. You adapt easily to new situations, are responsible, and have the ability to work independently. Since the role includes mentoring care staff, it is also important that you have good pedagogical skills.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driver's license is required.
