Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 27,800 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality is organized into a management structure with four sectors. The Social Services sector includes four operations: special housing/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, regular housing/personal assistance, and disability services.

The care and nursing services are responsible for elderly care in Stenungsund Municipality. The home care provided is regulated by law, primarily by the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Care Act (HsL). With a focus on people, interventions are carried out through assistance to individuals who need help and support at home, special housing, temporary short-term placements, and personal assistance. All instances in the chain contribute to qualitative and safe care and nursing for our care recipients.

There are three nursing homes in Stenungsund Municipality: Tallåsen, Hällebäck, and Pressaregården. This application pertains to Pressaregården, which is a care home.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will perform regular tasks within elderly care. An important part of the job is to create a meaningful everyday life for each individual, where you consider each care recipient's individual needs and conditions. You will work based on a contact person system and implementation plans and collaborate closely with other professional categories such as rehabilitation staff and nurses. The work includes documentation and performing health and medical care tasks by delegation. The working hours will vary between 80-100%. Your working hours will be scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Care and nursing program or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Good computer skills
- You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:
- Experience in elderly care
- Good knowledge of documentation, BPSD, IBIC, and LifeCare (documentation program).
