Do you want to help shape the future of diabetes care?

We are looking for a district nurse with specialized competence in diabetes who wants to lead and develop our diabetes clinic together with a colleague. In this role, you will play a key role in improving care for our diabetes patients, in close collaboration with the responsible physician.

What does the role entail?

As a district nurse in diabetes care with us, you will be responsible for independently assessing test results and medication adjustments regarding glucose control, lipids, and blood pressure. You will plan and follow up care for diabetes patients, provide support for self-care, and prescribe necessary consumables.

Your role also includes leading and coordinating health-promoting initiatives for patients with diabetes and supporting them in their daily lives, always with respect for their choices and life situations. You will have a significant influence on the work and be able to contribute to developing and improving patient care in collaboration with physicians.

In addition to working with diabetes patients, the role also includes regular nursing work within primary care.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a district nurse with further education in diabetes. You are confident in your profession and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. We believe you enjoy taking your own initiatives and have a strong commitment to developing both yourself and the care. Your willingness to work for the patient's best interest is obvious, and you value good collaboration and a positive work environment.

The position:

• Permanent employment with an initial probationary period
• Employment rate according to agreement
• Start date in spring 2025
