The radiology department in Växjö is part of the organization for imaging and functional medicine, together with radiology in Ljungby and clinical physiology. We perform most of the common radiological examinations, and the department currently consists of about 100 employees, including nursing assistants, radiology nurses, radiologists, and medical secretaries. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Radiology Nurse with us, you will play a central role in the diagnostic process. You will be responsible for performing radiological examinations with high precision and patient focus, both in acute and planned care interventions. Your tasks include, among others:

• Performing radiological examinations using various techniques such as conventional radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, angiography, mammography, and nuclear medicine, both with SPECT-CT and PET-CT.
• Working closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic images.
• Ensuring that patients receive a safe and professional approach throughout the examination process.

In recent years, we have carried out extensive renovations and can now offer a modern and well-equipped department that we are very proud of. Our operations primarily take place during daytime, but we also have on-call services in the evenings, nights, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed radiology nurse or a licensed nurse with further training in radiography. Experience in the field is an advantage, but we also welcome those who plan to complete their education as a radiology nurse by summer.
