JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now expanding the team with an additional occupational therapist! We are looking for someone interested in applying their occupational therapy skills within the area of functional support. We primarily work with individuals aged 18 and older who have a congenital or acquired disability and who live in supported accommodation with special support and services. We also support a number of children's homes. With us, you will meet patients with a wide range of functional levels, from those living in service apartments to those with high care needs in group homes. There is variation within psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and multiple disabilities. As an occupational therapist, you will work together with the patient and staff both at the residence and out in daily activities with goals and interventions to create the greatest possible independence in daily life. This means assessing and evaluating the need for occupational therapy interventions, prescribing and testing medical technical aids.

Geographically, we operate from the health and medical care unit at Lillekärr Södra. Our licensed team works together at the unit. In the team, you have several occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses who work towards the same target group as mentioned above. This means close and strong collegial support and collaboration where we encourage doing things together. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. It is required that you have a B driver's license. We would like you to have experience in habilitation/rehabilitation work. It is also an advantage if you have worked in psychiatry and/or have experience with patients who have had strokes or congenital/acquired brain injuries.

As a person, you thrive in teamwork and contribute to good collaboration with colleagues and other professionals you meet in your work. Furthermore, you take on your tasks responsibly and can independently overview, prioritize, and execute your tasks. You have an open and positive attitude and have the patient’s needs as the starting point for your actions. You have the ability to share information, both verbally and in writing, and adapt your communication according to the recipient and situation.
