The Workplace

The Social Administration in Karlsborg is responsible for elderly care, care for people with disabilities, municipal health and medical care, as well as individual and family care. The administration has about 250 employees.

The short-term unit is seen as the municipal primary care department and consists of 16 care places. Here, individuals come for continued training and rehabilitation after hospitalization. We also offer respite care places, security places, waiting places, and palliative places in the unit. We have the advantage of having a nursing responsible nurse on the department, and we have close cooperation with all licensed staff. In connection with the reorganization within the Social Administration, the opportunity has now opened for you to join our short-term unit.

Qualifications

In the short-term unit, we have a varied and multifaceted mission with significant health and medical care interventions as well as care work. The mission suits you who have experience in health and medical care work and who are curious about working in the municipal sector or to those of you who are considering returning to us. However, long experience is not a requirement, and we assume that we learn from and with each other.
