Peab Asfalt AB – a subsidiary of the Peab Group – is one of Sweden's largest companies engaged in the manufacturing and laying of hot, warm, and cold asphalt. Our laboratory operations consist of seven accredited laboratories spread from Boden in the north to Helsingborg in the south. The operations include analysis of road materials, technical support, sampling, product development, etc. Testing is performed on asphalt, bitumen, aggregates, other unbound materials, and concrete using a wide range of different testing methods.

About the position

We serve companies within the Peab Group but also have a large number of external clients. As a laboratory assistant with us, you will perform ongoing production and quality control of asphalt, aggregates, soil, and more. The job includes everything from receiving and registering samples to analysis and reporting.

We apply well-developed processes and routines, and we have good system support as well as several competent and positive colleagues.

 

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment until the end of October.

 

Requirements

We are looking for someone who wants to learn the profession from the ground up. We require that you have completed high school education. You are meticulous, can work independently, and have good teamwork skills. In addition, you have a positive attitude and see solutions instead of problems, as well as the ability to build good relationships. We value order and tidiness.

We require good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
