In the role of Regional Manager for Young Enterprise Dalarna, you will lead a team of employees with genuine commitment and a leadership style that strongly believes in the employees' ability to solve problems and develop. Your mission is to develop the organization towards ambitious goals aimed at increasing understanding of business and entrepreneurship. Dalarna is a region with great growth potential, where there is an opportunity to make a difference and leave a mark. You will become a public figure in a partnership-building and business-oriented role.

Your tasks are both strategic and operational in nature, involving goal-oriented planning and management of the organization. An important part of the mission is to strengthen the conditions for the organization by building more economic partnerships and developing the partnership work. You will also monitor the external environment and collaborate closely with municipalities and the region.

The position includes full responsibility for personnel, sales, and results. This entails ongoing administration, follow-up of the team's and your own work, reporting, budgeting, and analysis of financial outcomes. Reporting is done directly to the regional board.

The organization is part of a national mission with partial deliveries of national goals. You will therefore maintain continuous contact with our national office, Young Enterprise Sweden, and colleagues in the Mitt region.

Qualifications

We are looking for a humble team builder with great commitment and good leadership skills who has the ability to uplift others. We believe you have a strong inner drive that you use to motivate your team, implement what has been decided, and complete what you have started. Experience in personnel responsibility is not a requirement, but we would like you to have some leadership experience. You need to be confident in making decisions and have a willingness to develop with the job.

You are a relationship-building person who enjoys networking and sales, values routines and structure, and is skilled at coaching others to make strategically sound decisions.

Geographical knowledge and a network within the business community in the region is an advantage. It is important that you have an interest in entrepreneurship and community development. You do not need to be an expert in Young Enterprise, but previous engagement in UF entrepreneurship is meritorious.

As a person, we believe you have a great deal of curiosity, are open and communicative. You enjoy working both independently and in a team. You see opportunities, can prioritize and focus on the right things, and are good at leading, inspiring, and collaborating with others.

You speak and write Swedish fluently and have the ability to represent the organization externally. The mission requires some travel both within and outside the region, and a B driver's license is a requirement.

The Workplace

Currently, four people work at Young Enterprise Dalarna. Our base and office are located in central Falun, but the entire Dalarna region is our field of work.

Young Enterprise contributes to community development

Young Enterprise is a politically independent, non-profit educational organization and part of the global organization Junior Achievement. Since 1980, we have educated over 450,000 high school students in entrepreneurship through the UF entrepreneurship program. Since 2010, UF has also worked in primary schools and we also run the UF alumni network.

The organization has 24 regional offices, a national office, and about 130 employees across the country, supported by public funds and the private business sector.
