Elementary School Teacher Wanted at Lärande Grundskola Oden

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference for each individual student. You will teach grades 2-5 and, together with other teachers and leisure leaders, form a strong team around the students.

Qualifications

We are seeking a certified elementary school teacher with the qualifications to teach grades 1-6 in physical education and also in a few other subjects. You have previous experience in educational work in schools.

We are looking for someone who feels secure in the role of teacher and in meeting the students. In your role as a teacher, you should have good knowledge of the elementary school's mission and be well acquainted with the current curriculum and other governing documents.

You use various pedagogical methods and tools to provide students with the best conditions for learning. You are keen on using digital resources that contribute to increased understanding and develop students' digital competence to promote active learning.

You believe in students' willingness and ability to succeed, and you constantly seek ways to develop your teaching to provide your students with the best opportunities. You place great importance on creating good relationships, have clear leadership, and use well-thought-out methods to create a calm and safe environment in the group. You foster participation and engagement through cooperative learning and value-creating activities.

Lärande Grundskola Oden is a small elementary school with about 200 students and 27 staff members. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, and students have access to Chromebooks.

As a new employee, we offer orientation and professional development to help you feel secure in our school concept. We apply a vacation service for our educational positions.

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a 6-month initial probationary period, starting on August 7, 2025. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
