Experienced Consultant in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Wanted!
At Combitech, we are constantly working on exciting and varied projects within both defense and the civilian industry. We aim to be the obvious partner for companies facing growth in development and innovation, the employer for those who want to grow both personally and professionally, and the leading player in security and safety in the digital society.
We are currently looking for experienced consultants in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) in Stockholm for exciting and varied assignments in sectors such as defense, industry, and infrastructure. The opportunities for different types of assignments are vast, and we work with complex systems at the forefront of technology, ranging from submarines to airplanes!
Your Role as an ILS Consultant
Through various types of systematic analyses, you will help influence design, maintenance, and resource supply to create increased availability, efficiency, and reduced life cycle costs for the customer's products and systems. Tasks may include areas such as maintenance planning and investigation, predictions, spare parts optimization, reliability, and operational safety, but the entire ILS area* (Integrated Logistic Support) is open for future challenges. Your role may also involve leading work within the ILS area (ILS Management).
You will be part of a wonderful team where experience exchange is a natural part of everyday life. The work will be characterized by close collaboration between different projects, where you will have the opportunity to develop your insights and broaden your competence in several areas. Travel may occur as part of the job.
As a senior consultant in ILS at Combitech, you will work with everything from strategy and planning to analysis, procurement support, management, optimizations, and the creation of technical documentation. You will be an important part of the work to optimize availability, life cycle costs, and maintenance resources with the aim of achieving the right balance between costs, quality, and technical function over the lifespan of various types of systems.
* The abbreviation ILS stands for Integrated Logistics Support and is an internationally established management strategy primarily used in the defense sector but also within the civilian industry. In short, it takes into account maintenance and operation during the system's lifetime to ensure that a balance between cost, quality, and technical function is achieved. It may also be referred to as IPS (Integrated Product Support).
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in the field and documented experience in driving projects, preferably within the defense industry. We hope you have extensive knowledge of ILS and an understanding of how ILS connects with its various elements in the subprocesses, especially in relation to Systems Engineering (SE).
You are a graduate engineer or have equivalent professional experience that we consider equivalent. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement for the position.
We seek technology-interested individuals who thrive in an environment where close collaboration with customers and colleagues is a natural part of everyday life. You take responsibility for your tasks, see the value in good communication, and have a positive outlook. You will be part of a team with a mixed background and have the opportunity to discuss complex issues and problems with experienced colleagues, as well as act as a mentor to more junior staff. For us, it is a given to share knowledge with each other to meet customer needs together, as well as to constantly learn more and build experience.
It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of RAMS and ILS, as well as a solid understanding of Systems Engineering, especially according to standards from Incose and ISO IEC IEEE 15288. We also appreciate experience with product documentation, training and training systems, test equipment, as well as inventory management and maintenance preparation.
Since the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security review with possible background checks.
Does this sound interesting? Contact us or submit your application directly. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application period has ended.
Come & Make a Difference
At Combitech, our competence development program Combitech GROW is a natural part of your employment! We provide you with the opportunity to grow in a corporate culture that encourages both personal and professional development while working on exciting and rewarding assignments.
With us, you will be involved in developing technology areas to meet the demands of the future digital society. We have several projects within digitalization, autonomy, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and 5G development. Our consultants also develop flying defibrillators, systems that increase safety at airports, and the new fighter jet Gripen E that makes communities safe!
