Sports Facility Worker – Make a Difference in Piteå's Leisure Activities!

Job Responsibilities:

As a sports facility worker, you will be involved in the daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of several of Piteå's sports facilities and outdoor environments. Your work will be varied and exciting, with both indoor and outdoor activities.

Job tasks include:

Operation and maintenance of ice rinks, athletics facilities, and artificial turf fields
Maintenance of football fields and sports halls
Lawn mowing, snow removal, and grandstand cleaning
Ice care and maintenance of ski and exercise trails
Supervision, opening, and closing of our facilities
Local service tasks, such as cleaning and supervision of machines and equipment
Occasional physically challenging tasks and varying working hours (day, evening, weekend)

Qualifications:

Have a high school education in facility management, service, or maintenance, or equivalent experience
Have practical experience in the operation and maintenance of sports facilities and outdoor environments
Have basic computer skills (to handle reports and orders)
Have experience working with machines such as wheel loaders, ice machines, and snow groomers (preferred)
Have electrical qualifications or experience in ice making and trail grooming (preferred)
Enjoy working both independently and in a team
Are service-oriented, attentive, and have a professional demeanor
Are flexible and able to adapt to different people and tasks
Have a valid driver's license (B)

Employment: Full-time, permanent
Schedule: Rotating, varied schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts
Start date: By agreement
