Social Media Intern – MyDogCare & Hundshoppen

About Us:

MyDogCare is Sweden's largest dog daycare chain with seven dog daycares in Stockholm and a steadily growing business. We also run Hundshoppen, an online store specializing in dog products. We are now looking for an engaged intern who wants to help us expand our presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

About the Role:

As a social media intern at MyDogCare, you will have a unique opportunity to work with digital marketing and content creation for both MyDogCare and Hundshoppen. You will work closely with our management team, primarily the Vice President, and receive clear guidelines to work within. The internship is 50% and includes an intern salary. Since we operate dog daycares, you will be working closely with dogs, so you need to be comfortable and confident around them.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content (images, videos, and texts) for our social media channels.
• 
  
• Plan, schedule, and publish posts according to a content strategy.
• 
  
• Analyze and follow up on statistics to optimize reach and engagement.
• 
  
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for campaigns and collaborations.
• 
  
• Interact with followers and manage comments and messages.
• 
  
• Stay updated on trends in social media and adapt strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old.
• Must have good knowledge of the Swedish language.
• Experience working with social media, either through previous work or proven reach and creativity on personal channels.
• Basic knowledge of image and video editing.
• Good sense of visual language and storytelling.
• Creative, self-driven, and proactive.
• Interest in dogs and animal care is a plus.
• Comfortable and confident around dogs.
