The school nurse's mission is to work together with school management and other professionals within student health to create the best possible conditions for the student's health, development, and learning by providing a medical perspective.

You will meet students individually for health talks and health examinations according to our Basic Program, follow up on students' health issues, and collaborate with relevant contacts within and outside the school to support the student's learning.

You will organize school doctor appointments continuously throughout the school year and may participate in certain health education at the group level during the year, often together with other professionals from student health.

You will also be involved in developing preventive and promoting measures for student health at the school and in shaping the students' working environment.

In our schools, prorated is used for both medical record keeping and documentation of the EHT work in Elevakt. The work places high demands on the ability to collaborate with students, parents/legal guardians, school staff, and organizations and activities outside the school, as well as administrative skills to maintain good patient safety. Your immediate supervisor will be the principal at one of the schools. You will have support from the MLA/coordinating school nurse in your work and participate in the company's school nurse meetings every 6-8 weeks.

As all our students have a diagnosis within NPF/IF, we would like you to have a strong interest and commitment to this student group – and that you, within the framework of your role, enjoy being able to influence and develop. It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a school nurse.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with specialist training in Child and Youth 60 credits or School Nurse 60 credits or District Nurse 75 credits or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer.

Duration: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.

Scope: 50%

Working hours: Daytime, Monday-Friday

Salary: Individual salary

Start date: By agreement.
