Controller at the Swedish Public Pension Agency (SPV)

The Swedish Public Pension Agency, SPV, is one of Sweden's largest providers of pension services. We are now looking for a controller with experience in financial management and follow-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a controller at SPV, you will belong to our Governance and Follow-up team. The team plays a central role within the organization and primarily works with deliveries in the area of strategic governance and follow-up. We strive for a holistic view and a good understanding of the various parts of the organization, but you will primarily work with financial management and the financial information needed to manage and follow up the agency.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • actively working with financial management and ensuring that SPV has a financial management structure and the information needed for governance and follow-up of operations
  • working with budgets and forecasts at various levels in the organization
  • conducting analyses of financial results and managing deviations
  • supporting managers, projects, and steering groups in planning and follow-up of financial results
  • preparing decision-making materials for decisions on priorities and investments
  • presenting plans, decision-making materials, and analyses to various management forums
  • developing, documenting, and implementing processes and routines in the area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics or equivalent experience. You have at least three years of experience working as a controller in a medium or large organization or with equivalent tasks, as well as at least three years of experience in financial management and follow-up.

You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • experience working with financial management in a government agency or other public sector
  • experience in operational management and operational follow-up
  • been involved in development and improvement work
  • supported management and managers in budget and follow-up work
  • experience working agile
  • experience with various support systems for planning and reporting, time reporting, etc.
  • good knowledge of Excel.

Security is a high priority for us at SPV. This position is security classified, which means we conduct a security review (class 2) according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) before making a decision to hire a new employee. You must also have Swedish citizenship to be eligible for this type of security-classified position.
