The HR and Communications Department at Surahammar Municipality supports the entire municipal group in HR and information matters, while also managing and developing common HR and information processes. The department consists of an HR manager, two HR consultants, an HR administrator, and a communicator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Surahammar Municipality is looking for an HR Assistant to support our HR department with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the HR manager and other team members to handle daily HR tasks, including personnel administration and employee services. You will be the spider in the web between the external payroll department and the managers and employees of the organization.

Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and your attention to detail will be crucial for success in this role. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the HR field. It is important that you have a service focus that meets the needs of both employees and managers, as well as the payroll specialists' need for accurate data and information. You will also be the main user of several systems such as WinLas, Personec P, and Time Care scheduling system, and support managers and HR in the work with the digital personnel archive.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education in the social sciences, and it is an advantage if you have post-secondary education focused on administration.

Experience in administrative work, preferably within HR, payroll, or personnel administration, is a plus. We hope you have experience with or can quickly familiarize yourself with systems such as WinLas, Personec P, and Time Care, as well as good digital skills and experience working with digital personnel archives and other HR systems.

As a person, you are structured and have good organizational skills to manage a varied and hectic workflow. You have strong communication skills and can collaborate smoothly while clearly clarifying policies and changes. With empathy, you understand the needs and perspectives of employees, while also having good collaboration skills and enjoying working closely with HR consultants and the HR manager.
