Job Responsibilities

As a customer service representative with us, you will be welcomed into a varied and challenging job where no day is the same. You will work in our customer service at the Radiology Clinic. For this position, the focus will be on booking MR, CT, and conventional radiology examinations. The work includes various administrative and service-oriented tasks such as handling referrals, scheduling, image management, advanced administration, reception work, and answering questions via phone. You will also work in various IT systems of different complexities and have contact with various operations, key persons, and patients.

In this role, you will primarily focus on managing bookings for different examinations and administration, but you need to be prepared to jump in where needed. When working with bookings and the administrative parts of your job, you need to understand the complexity of different examinations and convey that to patients and referrers in various ways. You should also enjoy tackling tricky booking cases that require some detective work. Together with your colleagues, you will play a significant role, where you do all the necessary pre- and post-work needed for patients to undergo their examinations and for referrers to quickly receive their answers.

About the Workplace

The customer service is part of the Radiology Clinic Västmanland. About 13 employees with different professional backgrounds work with us. Together, we are the administrative hub of the clinic, where our main task is to book all the clinic's radiology examinations.

The Radiology Clinic is a county-wide operation that performs both emergency and planned radiology services. The entire clinic is digitized and handles standard radiology examinations within urology-gastro, skeleton, computed tomography, ultrasound, intervention, and MR. The clinic employs 180 dedicated staff who perform high-quality and professional work. We work with what matters most to us: contributing to ensuring that our patients have the best possible conditions and care that always meets our patients' needs.

We handle about 120,000 patient visits per year, which places high demands on our processes. To keep up with the rapid and technological developments in the field, we must constantly optimize our patient flow, stay updated, and implement new knowledge into smart competency development initiatives. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an approved education as a medical secretary, nurse, radiology nurse, or alternatively a nursing assistant with at least three years of experience in the profession. Experience from similar operations is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have previous experience with complex administrative tasks focused on coordinating, managing, or handling tricky booking cases. We see that you can easily familiarize yourself with different types of systems and can work with various IT tools in your daily work without any problems. Since a large part of the work involves reading and understanding complex medical information, we also see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
