At Östersund's Specialist Clinic for Rehabilitation Medicine, we are the main actor for rehabilitation in the Jämtland/Härjedalen region and are tasked with rehabilitating adults with strokes, brain injuries, neurological diseases, and orthopedic injuries, making the role of a nurse both varied and rewarding.

The operations are conducted in well-established teams that include doctors, neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and secretaries, where your medical competence as a nurse is vital for the rehabilitation work. Among your future colleagues, many have extensive experience and expertise, and you will become part of a wonderful group that has a holistic view of the operations and learns and motivates each other.

The clinic is located about two kilometers from Östersund Hospital and shares a building with the pain clinic, pain rehabilitation, and rheumatology clinic. Nearby, there are forest and outdoor areas as well as Östersund's winter sports stadium, which offers both patients and staff a great outdoor environment with opportunities for training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will meet patients with various diagnoses, and working as a nurse in the rehabilitation department involves actively participating in and collaborating with the rest of the team to advance the patients' rehabilitation process. You will also have a significant role in the care of patients in close collaboration with our nursing assistants in our department, which currently consists of 16 beds for inpatients.

During the summer, you will staff our department during the night from June 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse who is interested in working with rehabilitation and development issues, has good collaboration skills, and a trust-building approach to work.
