Do you love working with children and young people? Do you have experience working as a school counselor?

We are now looking for someone interested in working part-time (10%) at a primary school in Eskilstuna. You will be an important part of the student health team and work closely with the principal, school nurse, special educator, and psychologist. If you want to work more, you can combine this role with assignments as a school counselor for our clients in Märsta, Åkerbserga, and Nyköping.

Your Background

You will be part of the school's student health team. To be considered for this position, you should be a trained social worker, preferably with experience working in schools. A good knowledge of the Social Services Act and other relevant laws is required.

Examples of Job Duties:

Working with students in groups for preventive purposes or during specific problem situations
Support and motivational conversations with individual students and possibly with the student's guardians
Supporting students with special needs due to physical, mental, and social difficulties
Being available for advice and consultation
Collaborating with social services, youth centers, police, etc.
Being part of the school's EHT
Participating in the establishment of action plans for EHT
