Then this could be a position for you. We are looking for a residential support worker to work at both Lilla Movägen and Klaraborgsvägen.

Lilla Movägen is a residence for younger individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities who seek predictability and meaningful activities in their lives. About a three-minute walk away is the group home at Klaraborgsvägen, which accommodates four individuals who want to develop their skills to live as independently as possible.

Common to both locations is that we work in a structured manner and use PFA (pedagogical approach and working method). We strive to create a meaningful and predictable everyday life for those living in our group homes. The work involves some personal care, household chores, and collaboration with representatives and the broader network around the user. As a residential support worker, you accompany activities and outings, and you have a curious and exploratory approach focused on quality of life and development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a residential support worker, you will have a fun and varied job where you motivate and support those living in the group home with daily interventions based on individual needs. This may include cooking, cleaning, light personal care, and social interventions. You support users in creating meaningfulness through tailored activities. We work according to a pedagogical approach and contribute to ensuring that the user has a creative everyday life where their abilities are utilized. You document and work based on implementation plans and see development and improvement as natural parts of daily work. Medication and insulin delegation are included.

You will work days, evenings, and weekends according to a schedule. Solo work for shorter periods may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed and approved high school education, preferably trained as a preschool teacher or nursing assistant. You have experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities. If you also have knowledge of AAC (alternative and augmentative communication), PFA (pedagogical approach and working method), MI (motivational interviewing), or low-arousal responses, that is very beneficial. You are open to receiving medication and insulin delegation, and if you have experience in personal care and documentation, that is a plus.

As a person, you are solution-focused and easily build good relationships with users, relatives, and colleagues. You have good communication skills and a positive attitude. You have a strong user focus and easily adapt to individual needs. It is a plus if you are active and enjoy walking and accompanying users in various activities. Your engagement and ability to motivate others make a significant difference in our users' lives.
