We are now looking for an Accountant to join Nederman's Nordic Shared Service Center (SSC) in Helsingborg. Nederman Nordic SSC consists of 17 employees who handle accounting, tax, VAT, reporting, reception, payroll, and more for the group's companies in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. As an accountant, you will have overall responsibility for one or more companies and work with everything from ongoing accounting to year-end closing.

Main Responsibilities

Your tasks include ongoing responsibilities such as ensuring that supplier invoices are handled, approved, and paid correctly, managing monthly re-invoicing of costs to other companies, and following up on internal projects and comparing them with the budget. Additionally, you will manage the company's ongoing accounting, make provisions and follow-ups. You will report monthly VAT and statistics to authorities and ensure that the company's decision-makers and leaders receive internal follow-ups and reports.

Each month, complete financial statements are prepared with accompanying financial reporting and reconciliations. The year-end closing, which is extensive in its internal reporting, also includes work on documentation for tax calculations, deferred tax, and annual reports. You will ensure that external auditors receive documentation and materials during audits and that the company's legal documents are correct and always up to date.

Moreover, the role has an analytical perspective focusing on internal reports, business support, and work with budgets and forecasts. Collaboration is essential in the team, and we back each other up when needed. This means that you will also handle additional companies beyond those you are responsible for. We work together to ensure high quality and service in everything we do. You will report to the Senior Accounting Manager & Business Controller.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a degree in economics or equivalent, with a focus on accounting and experience in qualified accounting work. Previous experience in a larger international company or holding company is a plus.

You have a natural talent for both service and communication. With a business-oriented and solution-focused approach, you build trust and ensure effective collaboration. To thrive in this role, you are meticulous, structured, and unpretentious. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. The corporate language is English. If you also have experience with the business system IFS, we consider it an advantage.
