Experienced Personal Assistant and Team Leader Wanted

We are now looking for an experienced personal assistant who also wants to take on the role of team leader.

About Me:

I am a man living in Skövde and require personal assistance around the clock. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking walks, swimming, and participating in activities that enhance my well-being. Sensory-stimulating activities are something I value highly. I move with the help of a wheelchair and communicate through sounds and body language.

About the Role:

As the team leader for my assistant team, you will play a central role in ensuring that my support functions smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the team’s tasks while also actively working as a personal assistant yourself. It is crucial that you have a good collaboration with my guardians and can work well with them in decisions and planning regarding my assistance.

Your workplace is wherever I am, whether it is at home, with friends and family, or on outings and trips. It is of utmost importance that you have the ability to always put me first and advocate for my needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team performs their work based on my specific needs and preferences, and ensuring that I receive the personal assistance I need for a safe and meaningful everyday life.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience working as a personal assistant.
• Has previous experience in leadership, which is a significant advantage.
• Is humble, patient, and flexible.
• Has the ability to prioritize my needs in the room and ensure that my team always focuses on my needs in their work.
• Has a good ability to collaborate and create a safe and meaningful environment.
• Has good knowledge of assistive devices and how they are used in assistance work.
• Is present and attentive to my needs.

Important to Note:

I have allergies, which means that the workplace must be completely fragrance-free. You also need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license and if you are smoke- and snuff-free.

Working Hours and Scope:

The position comprises 32 hours a week with the possibility of extra work as needed. The shifts vary, and you need to be prepared to work days, evenings, weekends, and nights with on-call duties.
