ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant in an 80-90% position. Working hours are scheduled for daytime and evening during weekdays, as well as every other weekend.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 13-year-old boy with a twinkle in his eye who lives with his family in Vänersborg. He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and is wheelchair-bound. As his assistant, you will help him with everything in his daily life, from personal hygiene and transfers to playing video games, which is his favorite pastime. In addition, you will accompany him to school during weekdays, and afterwards, the working hours will be spent at home or on various activities that the family engages in together.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with a good heart. You have a sense of humor, a strong work ethic, are proactive, responsible, and enjoy working with people. Personal chemistry is what ultimately matters the most. As an assistant in this role, you should be prepared for manual lifting. Both the school, home, and car are adapted to avoid heavy lifting, but there are places where lifting aids are not available. REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license and access to a car
• Not allergic to pets as there are dogs and cats in the home
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Non-smoker

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a personal assistant
• Experience with epilepsy
• Experience with cerebral palsy

Employment rate: Approximately 80-90%.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.
