At the highly specialized pain rehabilitation unit, we offer an interprofessional approach based on the biopsychosocial model, which is the core of our operations. We work in teams with patients suffering from complex chronic pain conditions.

Our Operations:

Patients are offered rehabilitation based on assessment, both in a digital rehabilitation program and in group rehabilitation on-site at our facilities. The goal of rehabilitation is to work together with patients experiencing chronic pain to create conditions that enable lasting change, increased function, activity, and participation in society, as well as improved quality of life.

  • Work in a region-wide outpatient service located at Danderyd Hospital and Huddinge Hospital area
  • Contribute to the continuous development of methods within the organization related to goals, development, and results
  • Have the opportunity to engage in current research, supervise students, and teach

Job Description

As a psychologist in our multimodal rehabilitation team, you will work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, social workers, and medical secretaries.

You will work with your patients on both individual and group levels in a creative organization with competent colleagues. Your responsibilities include psychological assessments and rehabilitation in close collaboration with other professionals in the team. Teaching and supervising students are part of the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with experience in pain rehabilitation and teamwork with other professionals. Preferred orientation is CBT, preferably with experience in ACT as a treatment method.

Having ongoing/completed specialist training and experience in evaluation work and research is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

We seek someone who is proactive and structured with good collaboration skills and a strong interest in working with patients with chronic pain.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We conduct highly specialized rehabilitation of patients in the areas of brain injury, chronic pain, post-polio, neuromuscular diseases, adult habilitation, and insurance medicine.
