Description

Home care, own management, is the municipal home care service in Vaxholm. The workplace is centrally located in Vaxholm's center, with proximity to bus, boat, and car ferry. We who work in home care consist of about 50 people and currently take care of the daily care for over 100 individuals. The home care service also has responsibility for all security telephony within the municipality as well as approved service interventions.

Working in home care is much about facilitating the daily lives of people who cannot manage everything on their own. This also means that you leave work feeling that you have made a difference. We are looking for you who:

• are young, 18 years old, and need a job during the summer
• are in the middle of life and want to try a new profession or
• are a retiree who feels you have more to give in the job market

In home care, you assist with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, personal hygiene, and meals. This is based on the individual's needs, wishes, and approved assistance. You will get around the city by electric bike, bicycle, or car.

In addition to performing practical tasks, you should be able to document events related to the client in our document management system.

All our newly hired hourly substitutes receive paid introductory training.

Qualifications

To be considered for a job with us, you must be at least 18 years old. Having a driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is an advantage.

You who apply should be interested in working with people and have a good attitude. Your personal suitability, your ability to meet and communicate, create security, take responsibility, and engage is important to us. You will work independently and as part of a team with colleagues.

Everyone is welcome to apply, regardless of educational background or previous work experience. You need to be able to speak, understand, and write in Swedish.

Our operations run around the clock, and therefore there are work shifts during the day, evening, and weekend.

We need summer substitutes during June-August. You have the opportunity to work either the entire period or at least four consecutive weeks.
