About the position As a mechanical designer, you will be part of our Development Department that develops products across all of the company's business areas. You will be involved in the entire process, from idea to finished product. The role is based at Firefly's headquarters in Hammarby Sjöstad, where all of the company's departments are represented. You will work closely with your colleagues in the development department, the rest of the organization, and subcontractors.

Job responsibilities As a mechanical designer, you will play a central role in the development and design of new products, but you will also help maintain the company's existing product range. For the products, you will create associated drawings, purchasing, and production documentation. You will also produce images and videos from our 3D models of our products for use in product documentation, such as data sheets, user instructions, as well as for training and marketing purposes.

In your work, you will also be involved in the development of tools and methodologies. In case of production technical questions regarding developed designs, you will act as support for our production department and purchasing department.

To be successful in your position, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree in engineering
• Experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably with a focus on products for industrial use
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, design, and 3D CAD
• Very good language skills in Swedish and English
• Driver's license (B)

We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge in electrical or measurement technology.
