Your mission

As a teacher in English and Swedish, you will teach students in grades 7-9.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in your subject according to the curriculum. You adapt the teaching based on the students' needs, interests, and conditions. You follow up, assess, grade, and document students' knowledge development. The assignment may also include shared mentorship for a class. You are responsible for creating trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You belong to a work team for grade nine consisting of a mix of subject teachers. You collaborate closely with your subject colleagues. You have set subject time once a week and collaborate regarding students, planning, assessment, grading, and pedagogical development work. There is room to influence and develop teaching based on interest, knowledge, experience, and creativity.

Your experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• teaching certification with subject qualifications in English and Swedish for grades 7-9
• good ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• experience teaching in middle school
• experience conducting national tests
• experience using digital tools as teaching materials
