As a product development assistant, you will work in the design and product development department where you will be involved with all parts of Sportshop's product groups.

You will work in a team of eight people, and your role will encompass both purely administrative purchasing-related tasks as well as work with technical sketches, fit, and quality. Your main tasks will include:

• Creating material specifications
• Quality control of incoming garments and samples
• Measuring and testing samples as well as providing fit adjustment suggestions to suppliers
• Handling product samples and lab dips
• Creating measurement lists as needed
• Making garment sketches, detail images, and technical descriptions in Illustrator

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in textiles or another equivalent qualification. You have experience with similar tasks in the fashion or sports industry and have worked with a wide range of product groups, preferably technical garments. You have knowledge of Illustrator or similar drawing programs, and it is advantageous if you have experience with the business system PISA. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.

The company has offices in both Gothenburg and Grebbestad, thus the placement will be agreed upon at the time of hiring. However, flexibility is required to work from Grebbestad as part of your week.

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB started in 1991 and today has 18 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast is also our headquarters and our largest store, which is the Nordic region's largest sports store at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market.
