Responsibilities

As a Contract Engineer at Sh bygg, stone and construction, you have a central and coordinating role throughout the project. You are responsible for leading and coordinating work processes from bidding to completion, which includes planning, purchasing, follow-up, and project closure. We value a businesslike and structured approach as well as an inclusive and solution-oriented attitude.

Main responsibilities include:

• Bidding work – request for proposals, bid collection
• Planning – production budget, purchasing plan, account plan, timeline
• Purchasing – bid evaluation, delivery plan
• Production – invoicing, deviation management, reconciliation of payment plans
• Forecasting – ongoing cost reconciliation
• Project closure – documentation and final settlement

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong drive who enjoys taking their own initiatives at work. To succeed in this role, you should have solid experience in the construction sector and be accustomed to working with larger and complex contracts where collaboration among many stakeholders is a given. Your communication skills and understanding of business relationships are crucial for creating long-term results.

To fit the role, we see that you have:

• Extensive work experience in the construction sector
• Experience with larger contracts involving multiple stakeholders
• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Post-secondary education in construction
• Training in contract law
• Training in occupational health and safety, quality, and environment

Scope: Full-time
Working hours: 7-16 with the possibility of flexible hours
