On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a construction manager for the electrification of bus depots. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 01-03-2025 and run until 30-12-2026.

About the assignment We are now looking for a construction manager for our client in Stockholm who will also be the BAS-U primarily in their projects regarding the electrification of several bus depots. Several bus depots are to be put into production to make electric charging available for buses at these depots. As a construction manager, you are primarily responsible for the production phase in terms of effective monitoring of time, cost, and quality. The work includes control, monitoring, and approval of the work of hired contractors and self-control, as well as responsibility for ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and requirements as well as documents prepared for the purpose.

Examples of tasks and responsibilities:

• Actively monitor and report the progress of the construction contract regarding time, cost, and quality.
• Be BAS-U
• Be responsible for changes and additional work as well as deductions (ÄTA) based on the contract and document and report these continuously to the project manager.
• Be responsible for input regarding forecasts for the current construction contract.
• Lead and document construction meetings based on an agreed agenda.
• Support the contractor's work in developing work plans, schedules, and detailed weekly plans. Approve them when they are ready and communicate these to adjacent operations and stakeholders.
• In projects related to ongoing operations, coordinate interfaces with the operations operator to ensure minimal impact on operations.
• Ensure that the contractor follows our client's safety management system, environmental and occupational safety requirements, technical guidelines, and other governing documents and routines that concern the work.
• Make necessary decisions for the project based on the mandate.
• Participate in inspections and assist in handover to our client.
• Represent our client and the project in contact with various external parties and actors such as authorities, suppliers, and contractors.
• Report to the Project Manager and coordinate with others in the project.
• Participate in project-related meetings to receive information about the progress of the operations.

About you We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:

• Engineering education in the field of construction or at least 10 years of work experience in the field of construction and civil engineering

• At least 10 years of experience as a construction manager
• At least 12 years of experience in administrative tasks in a leading role in construction projects, such as construction manager or project manager, in the form of handling Questions/Answers, ÄTA monitoring, reviewing invoice documentation and diaries, scheduling work, etc.
• Personal certification as a construction site safety coordinator BAS-P and BAS-U - certified with certificate
• At least 6 years of professional experience in safety coordination in at least two different projects within similar operations (public transport, infrastructure, urban planning, technology, construction, and civil engineering)

It is advantageous if you also meet the following requirements:

• Have held a leading role (construction manager, project manager, site manager) in at least 3 projects regarding the new construction of facilities, such as vehicle depots, logistics facilities, or warehouse facilities
• At least 5 years of experience as a construction manager in projects with ongoing operational activities
