Our Operations

The Service Team works with conference activities in the meeting rooms of the Region's House and manages the reception and maintenance services in the building. The Service Team is a working group consisting of four employees and plays a very important role in the Region's House. We provide service to our employees, external visitors, and the general public. We are the face of the organization for visitors and a key function to ensure that people feel welcome.

Your Mission

In your role as a receptionist/conference host, your main task will be to staff our reception. There may also be other varying tasks such as service and serving at meetings, managing meeting bookings and orders, preparing conference rooms, and assisting colleagues in the team.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and experience working in a reception, restaurant, and/or conference operations.

We require you to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good English skills in both spoken and written form are an advantage. You should have good knowledge of the Office suite.

Your Competence

As a person, you are unpretentious and confident in yourself and your work role. You can work independently, are flexible in your approach, and can prioritize your tasks according to the needs of the organization. You have good initiative and collaboration skills and are genuinely service-oriented in your work. You have the ability to make each individual feel welcome and appreciated.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We Offer

We offer a temporary position at 75% for 6 months, starting by agreement. The workplace is in the Region's House, Region Uppsala. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, (weekend and evening work may occur).
