E.ON is looking for a Network Technician
E.ON is an international privately-owned energy company. 70,000 employees in 15 countries work daily to develop technical innovations and user-friendly customer solutions for the new energy world. We are the first major energy company to truly focus on future energy solutions through our business areas for smart grids and customer solutions.
Welcome to E.ON – where we drive real change for climate transition. We take responsibility for a better future through stable and fossil-free energy solutions for people, cities, and industries. We are innovative and brave, while also being empathetic and reliable. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, then E.ON is the place for you.
About us
In our Customer Delivery team in Stockholm, which falls under Connection & Service Business, we are 20 employees who work and are responsible for all customer-driven projects within the local network. We work passionately and cross-functionally with our customers and contractors to drive the development towards future power grids and a sustainable society. With us, you will be part of a creative and innovative environment where we work forward-looking to develop.
Your role
As a Network Technician, you will have a varied job with many points of contact. Your main tasks consist of handling incoming customer inquiries regarding, for example, new connections, line relocations, and repairs of power grids. You will be involved throughout the entire project process, where you have a supportive but also advisory role towards customers and contractors in matters concerning power grid calculations, compilation of quotes, and orders to contractors. In this role, you will primarily work from the office but also in the field where you will follow up on projects. The position is based at our office in Solna.
Your experience
We believe you will thrive in the role if you have basic electrical knowledge and an understanding of power grids and electricity distribution, preferably combined with practical experience in fieldwork. Experience with simpler network calculations is a plus, but we place great emphasis on your willingness to learn and develop. We welcome new competencies into the team and place great importance on your personality and potential. To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you have a strong sense of service and view broad contact areas positively both internally and externally, as the role involves ongoing contacts with contractors and customers. In our team and at E.ON in general, we are convinced that collaboration makes us more successful and also makes the job much more enjoyable, which is why it is essential that you are unpretentious and helpful as a colleague.
What is it like with us?
We welcome you to an inclusive and open team where we help and respect each other. Your manager, Sebastian Wohlgethan, drives the team forward with a strong focus on both individual and group development. His leadership is characterized by great trust in his employees combined with freedom under responsibility and self-leadership. He is attentive to what both the employee and the group need and tries to get everyone to move in the same direction.
At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion - it is crucial to drive the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe working environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continually challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace, where we hope you will thrive.
We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal sustainability. Therefore, we offer good benefits to ensure you feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include a shorter working time that is higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!
Warm welcome to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The application deadline is March 23.
