Machine Operator - Cutting Processing

Your Role

We are now looking for a machine operator for our unique production of state-of-the-art submarines and surface vessels at one of the world's most modern shipyards.

In your role as a machine operator in the Welding Control section, you will work on producing test bars for mechanical testing of welds and metallic materials, as well as preparing materials for welding qualifications. If necessary, you will also create drawings for production samples and welding tests.

Main Responsibilities

• Machining (milling, turning) and cutting
• Development of simple drawings

Your Profile

To succeed as a machine operator with us, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Requirements

• Experience and knowledge in manual cutting processing
• Solid experience in reading drawings
• Basic knowledge in construction
• Experience working with CAD

Meritorious

• Experience working with high-strength steel and corrosion-resistant materials
• Ability to read and interpret standards in the welding field
• Good computer skills
• Experience from a similar position

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for specific citizenship.
