Job Description

As a welding coordinator within the Welding Control section, you are responsible for establishing welding methods that meet specified requirements, taking into account weldability issues related to the materials used, processes, and manufacturing techniques. The role includes ensuring that the correct welding quality is achieved and that regulations, standards, specifications, and other customer requirements are followed.

Main responsibilities include:

• Technical resource for welding in production and maintenance projects.
• Development and management of WPQR, WPS, and welding tests.
• Management of welding-related deviations.
• Review of documentation.

In this coordinating role, it is crucial to enjoy collaboration and to build good relationships. You are a self-driven and meticulous person when it comes to following and referring to current regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience from heavy industry and welding of complex structures.
• Understanding of and knowledge about the ISO 3834 series and ISO 14731.
• Experience in troubleshooting welding-related issues.
• Knowledge of relevant essential welding tasks and related duties.
• Theoretical knowledge at a level relevant to the manufacturer.
• At least IWS training.

Additionally, knowledge of Weldeye for managing WPS, WPQR, certificates, and deviations is advantageous.
