What we offer
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team at Tool&Die machining as a CAM programmer. The working hours are scheduled in 2 shifts, but daytime may also be relevant. Become part of a competent team where we constantly strive to develop and improve. Does this sound interesting? Read on in the ad about what the job entails and what skills are needed. Perhaps you will be our next colleague?
What you will do
As a CAM programmer, you will primarily work on programming milling programs for our milling machines according to agreed standards. We use Tebis as our CAM software. The role also includes reviewing designs, documentation, and supporting operators at the machines. As a CAM programmer, you will also be involved and drive improvement work regarding work methods to find the most efficient ways of running. Furthermore, it includes reporting any deviations and staying updated on new methods and strategies. As a CAM programmer, you will have a lot of contact with cross-functional departments as we collaborate closely with each other.
You and your skills
We believe that you have a technical high school education of 2-4 years or equivalent work experience, as well as experience working as a CAM programmer or CNC miller. You should have good computer skills, and if you also have experience with Tebis, we consider it an advantage.
We place great importance on you as a person, and we see that you thrive in collaborating with others to drive work forward. As a person, you contribute to the team by showing both respect and trust towards your colleagues and customers. You enjoy solving problems, and with your analytical ability, you see problem-solving as a challenge and an opportunity for development. To thrive in the role, you need to be accustomed to a structured way of working, and since the work is event-driven, it requires you to be flexible and able to quickly reprioritize.
