We are looking for one or two hostel hosts/hostesses for the Hanö Hostel. We seek individuals who appreciate order and responsibility, and who want to provide that little extra for the guests staying at the hostel and visiting the island.

The hostel is located on the island of Hanö in the Blekinge Archipelago. Boats depart from Nogersund Harbor to Hanö approximately once an hour during the summer.

This will be the fifth summer we operate the hostel. The hostel is situated halfway up the island in the old school building. There are five rooms and two cabins, totaling about 20 beds.

We are looking for one or two people who can work as hostel hosts. Working hours are approximately 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Sunday, from June to mid/late August, with the possibility of weekend work in May and September. In previous years, we have had two hosts sharing the position, working alternate weeks.

Job responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage check-ins & check-outs

- Clean and prepare rooms

- Make beds

- Clean common areas (kitchen, shower & toilet)

- Simple gardening (water flowers indoors and outdoors & pick flowers)

- Inventory and order supplies

- Inventory and order bed linens
