Scanditronix Magnet is a technology company that has built a strong position in the global market for the development and production of electromagnets over many decades. Our magnets play a key role in scientific research and cancer treatment, among others. The majority of our production is exported primarily to Europe and the USA. Our products are customized, making our services stimulating and varied. We are in a strong expansion phase and are now looking for more employees.

In this role, you will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and other departments. Your tasks include leading, planning, driving, and developing the design department, as well as actively performing design work yourself. The role includes personnel responsibility for currently 4 experienced machine designers, as well as daily management, planning, monitoring, and verification of the department's work, as well as support and development of personnel. You will have your own design assignments and assist other designers with support and as a resource in time-consuming tasks where everyone focuses on quality and delivery time. Design is an independent department, and you will report to our CEO.

You have a relevant education for the position and several years of experience in 3D machine design within the manufacturing industry. Experience with SolidEdge / SolidWorks and PDM and business systems is desirable. Previous experience in personnel management and planning is an advantage.

This is a full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon.
