About the Role:
We are looking for a Quality Manager for our site in Oskarshamn, Sweden.

As the Quality Manager you will be at the forefront of ensuring our company's commitment to excellence. You will oversee our quality management system, providing the management team with a clear and comprehensive view of the critical quality aspects of our business.
In this role, you will be the key point of contact for all quality-related matters, reporting on customer complaints, the quality status of our products and services and the effectiveness of our internal processes. You will lead the quality department, fostering a culture of high-quality awareness and continuous improvement.
Your contributions will be vital for developing robust production processes and products. You will work closely with our Marketing and R&D teams to further refine our product ranges. You will create and refine processes and working methods that support our quality objectives, ensuring that product and process requirements are clear and measurable.
You will also play a crucial role in maintaining the preventive and systematic aspects of our Quality Management and Quality Assurance System. This includes managing relationships with external certification bodies, overseeing customer and internal audits, and ensuring our suppliers meet our stringent quality standards.
You will be responsible for implementing and following up on quality policies and objectives and ensuring that any customer complaints are addressed promptly and effectively. The work includes coordination with Saft Corporate Quality initiatives and standards.
In this role, you will be part of the Site Management team in Oskarshamn. Your leadership will extend to the development of the Quality department and its employees (a team of seven people). The work will include frequent interactions with worldwide customers, either through digital meetings or physical meetings.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with an educational degree within a relevant field for the role and proven experience in quality management, strong leadership, team management skills, communication and social skills. Interest in technical questions is a clear benefit in this role. You should have a track record of developing and implementing effective quality management processes and experience working with external certification bodies and audits. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish is a must.
